MemoSeekReminders you set in one sentence
Tell MemoSeek what to remember and when, by voice or by typing. It works out the day, the time and the detail, shows you what it understood, and schedules an alert on your iPhone.
Setting a reminder
- Open MemoSeek and speak, or type if you prefer.
- Say what and when in one go: “Remind me Thursday at 4 pm to pick up the dry cleaning.”
- Check what MemoSeek understood: the day, the time and the wording.
- MemoSeek shows what it understood and saves it after a few seconds. Speak, tap Edit, or say “no” to change it before then; you can still edit or delete it later in Record.
Examples
You say: Remind me tomorrow at 9 in the morning to call the bank.
MemoSeek: Tomorrow, 9:00 AM: “Call the bank”.
You say: Remind me on Saturday at 10 in the morning to take the car for its service.
MemoSeek: Saturday, 10:00 AM: “Take the car for its service”.
You say: Remind me Monday at 6 pm to call John about the school trip.
MemoSeek: Monday, 6:00 PM: “Call John about the school trip”. If you say yes, MemoSeek can find John in your contacts so the reminder shows Call and WhatsApp buttons.
You say: Remind me Friday at 9 to renew the car insurance.
MemoSeek: MemoSeek asks “AM or PM?” rather than guess. Answer, and the reminder is set.
When the alert comes
The alert is scheduled on your iPhone itself. It shows the reminder text, and from the alert you can mark it Done or Snooze it.
Whether and how an alert appears depends on your iPhone: notification permission for MemoSeek, Focus modes, Do Not Disturb and Scheduled Summary can all hide, silence or delay it. See reminder notifications on iPhone for the settings to check. MemoSeek is not an emergency service; do not rely on it for anything where a missed alert could cause harm.
Finding and changing reminders
Record lists what you have saved. You can search it, filter it, edit a reminder’s time or text, or delete it.
Good to know
- Put the part of the day after the hour: “at 9 in the morning” or “at 9 pm”. A bare “at 9”, or “tonight at 9”, gets the “AM or PM?” question.
- Give a time with every date. “Remind me on the 12th” gets a question about the time.
- Each request is one reminder. If you want to be reminded the day before and again an hour before, make two reminders.
- The reminder text can appear on your lock screen, depending on your notification preview settings.
