Delete your account

You can delete your MemoSeek account and its data yourself, from inside the app.

Steps

Open the app and sign in.
Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete my account.
Confirm with your password or with a code we email to you.
Deletion happens straight away. It is not deactivation, and it cannot be undone.

Before you delete

If you want a copy of your data: Settings → Privacy & Data → Download my data.

Deleted straight away

Your account and sign-in details.
Your reminders and saved information.
Your photos and the details read from them. The photo files are removed from storage shortly afterwards by a background process.
Your devices and active sessions.

To remove the app’s data from your phone, delete the app from your phone.

What is kept

Records that do not contain your content: allowance and usage accounting, and security records such as ended sessions and the administrative audit log. The detail is in the privacy policy.

If you cannot sign in

Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account, and we will help.

We do not delete an account on the strength of an email alone: that would let anyone who knows your address delete your account. We will first confirm the account is yours.
