Keep the paper, find the details

Receipts fade, tickets get lost in a bag, warranty cards end up in a drawer you never open. Take a photo, or pick one you already have, and MemoSeek keeps it with the details it reads from it.

Adding a photo

In MemoSeek, open Photo and add a photo: take one with the camera or pick one from your library.
Before it leaves your iPhone, location data is removed from the photo.
The photo is uploaded to private storage in your account.
AI reads the photo and pulls out details such as the date, the amount, the store or the event.
Check what it read against the picture.

What works well

Receipts for things you may return or claim on: electronics, appliances, furniture.
Warranty cards, so the purchase and cover dates are in one place.
Tickets for an event, a match or a show, so the date and seat are easy to find.

You say: A photo of a receipt for a coffee machine.

MemoSeek: The photo is kept, with the store, the purchase date and the total read out.

You say: Show my coffee machine receipt.

MemoSeek: Said on Home, MemoSeek finds the photo and shows it.

You say: Remind me on March 1, 2027 at 10 in the morning that the coffee machine warranty is about to end.

MemoSeek: A separate reminder you set yourself, so you have time to use the warranty. MemoSeek does not set warranty reminders on its own.

Finding it later

Photos are not in Record, which holds reminders and saved details. Your recent photos are on the Photo screen, and you can ask MemoSeek on Home for a particular one, like “Show my coffee machine receipt”. If you also want to be told about a date on a photo, such as the last day for a return, ask for a reminder.

Privacy

You choose every photo. Nothing is taken from your library unless you pick it.
Location data is removed on your iPhone, before upload.
Photos are kept in private storage while your account exists. When you delete a photo, the deleted copy is removed from our servers within 30 days. Deleting your account deletes all your photos.
An AI provider reads the photo to extract its details. AI and your data lists which providers and what they may receive.

Photo reading needs AI processing to be on. AI can misread a faded date or a total, so check the details that matter, like a return deadline, against the photo itself. PDF files are not supported.
