Photos: adding, finding and deleting

You can add a photo of a ticket, a receipt or a warranty card from your camera or your library. MemoSeek removes location data on your iPhone, stores the photo privately, and uses AI to read its details.

Add a photo

In MemoSeek, open Photo and add a photo.
Take a photo, or pick one from your library. iOS asks for Camera or Photos access the first time.
Wait while MemoSeek reads it, then check the details it found against the picture.

Tips for a good read

Lay the paper flat, in good light, with no shadow across it.
Fill the frame, with all edges visible.
Photograph receipts early; thermal paper fades.

Find it again

Photos are not in Record. Your recent photos are on the Photo screen, and you can ask MemoSeek on Home for one, like “Show my coffee machine receipt”.

What happens to the photo

Location data is removed on your iPhone before upload.
The photo is stored in private storage in your account.
An AI provider reads it to extract details. See AI and your data.
When you delete a photo, the deleted copy is removed from our servers within 30 days. Deleting your account deletes all your photos.

Photo reading needs AI processing to be on. With AI processing off, voice, typed requests and photo reading are all off. You can still browse, edit and delete what you have saved. PDF files are not supported. AI can misread a date or amount, so check what matters against the photo.
