MemoSeekFind the thing you saved, without remembering where
The problem with small details is not saving them, it is finding them. Was the booking reference in a message, an email, a screenshot? In MemoSeek the reminders and details you saved live in one Record, and you can search it.
Search by what you remember
You rarely remember the exact wording. You remember a word: “parking”, “warranty”, “plumber”, a person’s name. Search Record for that word and MemoSeek looks through what you have saved.
You say: Search: “parking”
MemoSeek: The saved detail “Parked on level 3, row F, near the blue elevator”.
You say: Search: “fridge”
MemoSeek: The saved warranty date for the fridge.
You say: Search: “Ahmed”
MemoSeek: Reminders and details that mention Ahmed.
Search works on what was saved as text, which is one reason MemoSeek keeps your words rather than a voice recording: text can be searched, a recording has to be played back.
Steps
- Open Record.
- Type a word in the search field.
- Use the filters to narrow the list when it is long.
- Open an item to see it in full, edit it or delete it.
Why one place helps
Small details tend to scatter: a screenshot here, a message to yourself there, a sticky note on the fridge. Each is fine on its own, but finding the right one means remembering where you put it. When the reminders and details you asked MemoSeek to keep are in one Record, you only need to remember a word, not a place.
Make things easy to find later
- Say the name of the thing, not just the value: “The plumber’s number is …”, not only the number.
- Include the person or place: “at Jessie’s”, “at the gym”.
- Delete details that are out of date, like an old address, so search shows the right one.
Photos are not in Record. Your recent photos are on the Photo screen, and you can ask MemoSeek on Home for one, like “Show my coffee machine receipt”. See photo memory.
